Now I pretty much swear by the same beauty products day-to-day and like to keep it natural and easy. However, I love love love beauty hauls and seeing what is currently trending in the beauty world 🙂 Here’s a roundup of some current makeup favorites that I’ve been loving lately. Most of them are from Sephora and Ulta and with their great returns and fast shipping, you really can’t go wrong with trying a new piece of makeup (or two or three)! Oh, and please excuse my rough looking nails right now LOL, it’s pretty bad.
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid in Moonstone– I discovered this gem a while back when I got it in a tester and let me tell you, I was shocked! This really takes the cake as my holy grail primer. Even if you are going without foundation, put a little bit of this on and your skin will look hydrated and so glowy in the best way possible!
BECCA Soft Light Blurring Setting Powder– Ok, have you noticed a pattern yet with my love for BECCA products?? 🙂 You really just can’t go wrong with anything from them! Admittedly I have only tried this powder one time so far but I’m already SO impressed with it! It sets your makeup very nicely and helps blur any fine lines or imperfections. It does have a kind of peachy tint to it almost in the jar but I feel like that is what helps give it that blurring effect to the skin. Also, look how gorgeous the packaging is!
Morphe Continuous Setting Mist– The ONLY thing I’m annoyed about is that I didn’t try this setting spray sooner. I cannot express my love enough for this thing but i’ll try…I have tried so many different setting sprays only to be disappointed. Have you ever spent a long time putting on a whole face of makeup only to ruin it when you go to set it with spray and have it absolutely drench your face and mess it all up?? Soooo aggravating! That does not happen at all with this one. It lets out a continuous, super fine mist and just melts everything together and keeps makeup from caking. Definitely recommend if you’re on the hunt for a setting spray that works and also smells great too!
Lancome Maquicomplet in shade Porcelaine – A helpful lady at Sephora recommended this to me when I was looking for a new concealer to try and so far I’m very happy with it! It has a natural-looking finish and would be great for normal to dry skin as it’s very creamy. It’s been great with helping hide my dark circles due to lack of sleep and just basically mom life 😉
Marc Jacobs Air Blush Soft Glow Duo in Kink & Kisses– Just look at the reviews on the Sephora website and see for yourself how amazing this blush is!
DHC Liquid Eyeliner– I love the feel and look of the brush tip pen and makes it easy to do great eye looks, simple to bold cat eyes.
Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray– I’m cheating with this one because I didn’t technically buy it, it came as a freebie with my other Sephora goodies. But, that doesn’t make this any less great! I tend to get redness on my upper cheeks throughout the day and have (suffer from) dry skin, and this has been great to keep in my purse and spray on occasionally throughout the day for a boost of hydration and refresh of my makeup.
